We have wood framed sliding glass patio doors installed my an independent manufacturer (Pullum) in Michigan many years ago. One stationary door section and one sliding. The weather stripping where the two doors meet vertically in the middle has brush stripping that insets into plastic channel pieces on facing sides. One is mounted (small nails not slot) to the the outside of the sliding door section and one is mounted to the inside of the stationary section. The plastic has deteriorated on both the outside sliding door and inside of the stationary section. The plastic is brittle and cracking, resulting in blocking the door from closing properly. The plastic channel piece is the same on both wood door sections, just flipped upside down, so they meet at the brush.
Do you carry a similar weatherstripping or something we can use in its place? We live in Michigan and are starting to notice little critters trying to seek shelter before winter begins in our warm and cozy home !
