Help With Replacement Spiral Balance

Hello,

I am requesting help locating a replacement spiral window balance. I pulled out of my window what was a blue tipped, white sleeve covered balance measuring 28 5/16 long by 7/16th wide. It is not critical that the replacement have the white cover or be the same width. The channel opening in the window is approximately 7/16 wide for the spiral balance to fit into. I can weigh the lower tilt sash if necessary. Pictures are attached. I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks for posting! Your tilt window spiral balance appears to be the 3/8" diameter Series 900 Spiral Balance. To confirm the length of your balance, you'll need to be sure you are measuring from the top of the balance down to the colored tip, but not including the tip.

For the length you need, which is likely to be either 28" or 29", a blue tip option is not available. That said, to confirm the correct weight range your balance should be able to support, you'll also need to obtain the exact weight of your sash.
