Help identifying pile weather stripping

Home Owner from Orlando, FL
I am replacing pile weather stripping in old windows. Manufacturer is unknown (not labeled). I am trying to get 1-2 more years out of these windows before we replace. I want to maximize the seal from exterior. I am not concerned with impacting function of the sliding of the window (we never open, it's hot here in FL). The pile on the window vertical rail frame and check rail does not appear to come out with compression from a putty knife. Is this replaceable? Or do you recommend only replacing the piles and seal on the sash?

Hello, thank you for posting,

On the master frame and sometimes on the sash, the manufactufacturer actually stamps a notch along the rails usually six or twelve inches along it to lock the weather stripping. You would have to force a putty knife under the small notch and force it up to release the weatherstripping. If the master frame wool pile weatherstripping just won't come out, then just do the sashes.

Our full selection of pile weather seal can be viewed here. Are you able to provide written out dimensions of the width of the base and height of the pile of the original you pulled from the window?
