Help identifying proper parts

Quick Learner from USA

Hello-

Can you please help me identify the correct window channel. I see a lot of pieces that look similar but I am unsure particularly of the footprint.

I know the length of the channel is 13'' but have a hard time identifying the right footprint part.

I bought my condo and we identified the broken window during the inspection but it was left to me to fix. Somehow one channel on the side was not in the window at all so I only have the one remaining broken sash to identify.

After looking again I could finally see the stamp on the piece although it is hard to read. It does clearly say 13 then a space then 9 and stamped smaller underneath the 9 it looks like BSI and under that N. I've attached a picture of the stamp but it is hard to see.

I'm not sure of the manufacturer or when it was installed but I can ask the neighbors in my condo if they know.

Please let me know if you need anything else from me. Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out! These will need to be a custom order balance as they are an extended travel balance system with a wheel in the shoe and tension cord clip on the end.

I am confident that we can supply you with these balances, however, I'll just need to know the exact weight of the window to confirm pricing and availability. We are, unfortunately, unable to cross-reference the stamp from the balance.

I'll also need to know the exact number of balances you are looking to purchase; there is an order minimum of (2) balances per custom balance.

Once I have this information, I'll be be able to provide you with a link for the balances you are looking to purchase. Let me know if you have any questions.

I weighed my window with a bathroom scale and it said 27 pounds. I for sure need 2, I would be tempted to buy 4 in case they break again (or I have another window just like that and it could be a spare if needed for that window too) but I am not sure of your return policy for custom pieces. I don't want to buy 4 until I know it actually fits/works in my window. If I start with just the two and order two more after I install them, would that be easy? And if they don't fit, is it easy to send them back to get modifications?

Thank you!

My apologies for the delay in response, we are still researching to confirm the pricing and availability for these balances.

The good news is that we can likely supply them for you however, I would like to confirm the window weight before we move forward. We haven't come across a balance of your size that holds a window weight of 27lbs, while that doesn't mean this isn't possible, it's just rare.

Can you confirm that your window weight is truly 27lbs?

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry for the delay! I've forwarded over a link with a quote for the (2) requested balances. I did want to make you aware that custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable. So before purchasing them, I would recommend confirming the sash weight to ensure that it actually is 27lbs.

Let me know if you have any questions.
