I seem to have a broken balance on one side of my alliance sashlite window. The metal strip is messed up. One photo shows that strip and the other photo of other side appears ok

It looks like you need new coil balances. I believe you need our 15-086 and 15-087 housings, as well as the Series 180 coil spring. Please note that you will need to match up the spring weight code when ordering, which is usually found on the band of the old spring.
