Help with a Caradco wood casement window

I have a vintage awning type window from of course Cradco, wood casement type, I believe.
I am trying to open the window to let hot air escape from the kitchen, hadn't been opened for two + years. The California heat is on its way 90+ for a week. Anyway I digress, the plastic high density glider broke on one side, so I want to remove the window itself, take measurements of the bracket & see if I can find a metal replacement. When I open the window completely & slide the bracket in the the horizontal position does the plastic brackets come out horizontally with the window? A two person job. Photos later.

Regards...

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we don't know what plastic brackets you're referring to. Photos of those parts along with photos of the window would be a huge help. Let me know if that's something you could get for us.
