Hinge Adjustment

Question

My locks won't lineup. I thought that I might to adjust the door hinges. Is there a way that I can adjust them?  I also noticed that on door the hinges are put on different then the other door. Is this normal? I'm sending pictures of both doors. Thank you, because I needed some advice.

There is unfortunately no way to adjust this type of hinge. It sounds like they may not have been installed properly when the doors were put up. My suggestion would be to reinstall the hinges to have the locks put in good working order.

I had another thought, too; if the major trouble is with the locks is that they're not lining up with the strike plate, I would suggest moving the strike plate to better align. This is assuming that there is space enough to adjust them, but it may be worth considering.
