Hinge Removal

Question

I have ordered numerous pieces of hardware for some old casements, you guys are great!

Can you possibly advise if this hinge pin can be removed to take out the windows for repair?

If so,, suggestions onset removal process?

Hello,

I had my start in the window business repairing these older steel casement windows back in the '60s. I would not advise removing the sash vent from the window main frame. If you need to replace the glass, I would advise that you do the repair with it in place. Just be careful if you need to use a ladder to reach the window.
