Hinge for window crank

A home owner from Cliffside Park, NJ says:
The joint of the part of the window that connects it to the frame is missing. Couldn't locate a replacement screw - was told the entire arm needs to be replaced?

Hello! If all you're missing is the bracket that connects the operator to the sash, then you absolutely do not need an all new operator. Just the bracket should fix it.

Take a look at our 39-160, this is specifically designed to work with an Andersen brand operator like yours. The kind f screw you need is unfortunately not something I can answer, since that really depends more on the sash than the bracket itself. I recommend checking another window in the house that still has all its parts and taking that screw in to a local hardware store to match up.
