Hinges on Top are Gone

Quick Learner from East Rochester NY
Hello. A big wind storm blew our window out couple months ago. It appears that the hinges on top and inside the frame are gone. The photo with the two little metal pieces and pieces of plastic was all that was on the floor after the windstorm. Are these parts replaceable? And if so how much will they cost?

The metal bits in your second photo are known as pivot bars. We can definitely replace this. Start by looking at our 26-226 and see how well this compares. About half of yours has broken off, so if you happen to have an undamaged version from an identical window to use for comparison, I recommend doing so. The most important measurement is the distance between the center of the first screw hole to the front of the pin.

I'm not sure what that clear piece is at all, I'm afraid. I almost thought those were pieces of broken glass until you said they were plastic. I couldn't tell you what it might have come from.

Finally, we have that pivot shoe in the third photo. The center metal cam is broken, so you'll need a new shoe entirely. Our 15-175 may be what you want, but you might want to remove your old one from the window to confirm that everything matches up. I've related media guides to this page to help you.
