Holding part for hand crank missing

I moved in and one window is missing this part. Ugh. Do you have any advise?

Hi, Madison. This is an old style hex operator that isn't made anymore, but we just so happen to still carry the handle. See our 39-226. I think this will repair your operator.

I need the operator to crank it? What do I do. I have nothing to put the crank in?

Ah, I see. That will make things more difficult then. I will need you to get one of the operators you still have and remove it from the window in its entirety. Once I can see the whole mechanism, I'll do my best to find something that matches. Like I said, it's not made anymore, but there may be a modern equivalent.

We'd be happy to help but as Tom mentioned back in 2020, we would need to see an intact operator removed from another window that still has the arms that attach to the sash to compare to our inventory. Thank you.
