Hook on end guide

A home owner from Los Angeles says:
possible to verify if the hook latch on the end guide is in the reverse Direction. Can this be repaired. Please advise please look at the photos

That latch hook does look like it's turned around, but you should be able to flip it back around by hand. It's only held on with a knot through a hole so turning it should be easy.

As for the balance itself, it looks like a match for our S350-22.
