Hopper Window latch

Hope you can help me. Very old single pane aluminum hopper window. There is a latch that when you open the window it slips into this bracket so it doesn't fall all the way down. Jamb has a little nub that slides into the opening. About 35-45 years old.

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm afraid this isn't something we've seen before. It might be too old for us and there's a chance we may not be able to help but is there any way we could see this in undamaged condition?
