The original is plastic. I prefer metal. The screws are 1-1/2" apart.

Hello, thank you for posting,
Your lock resembles the 38-126 hopper window lock that has 1-1/2" installation holes from center to center. Please review the dimensions to confirm a good fit! Unfortunately we do not have a metal option for this style of lock.
