How To Remove Pin and Sash

Question

Hi,
I have the same window with broken coils. Who makes this window and HOW DID YOU GET THE PIN OUT TO REMOVW THE SASH? It's not the regular easy out that I've seen. I removed the screws underneath but it won't budge and I do t want to break it.

Hello Sid

Without any pictures of your window and coils, the generic way is to tilt in and twist the sash to release the sash pivot bars from the pivot shoe. See our video that we've posted on this page on how we removed the sash pivot bars from the shoes. Thank you!
