How can the 84-105 roller wheel attach to my door?
I just noticed that the wheel assembly of one of my Pella rollers on my screen door is missing. The bracket is in place and looks fine. The other roller on the door has a screw that connects the two wheels, which allows me to unscrew the wheels and replace them without having to replace the entire roller assembly (see photo). In looking at your photo on this product, I didn't see a screw to connect the wheels. If I buy this product will I be able to take the wheels off the bracket and put them in my bracket?
Thanks
That is a weird one. Our 84-105 is not meant to install using screws. I don't believe this is what you want, but I've never come across an alternate style.
I think you may want to contact Pella directly. You may have something unique to this door.
Thanks
Hello! I hope I can help. Like Tom mentioned, the 84-105 roller is not held in with a screw. The front and rear wheel on the 84-105 snap together front and back. I don't believe it can come apart without damaging the roller assembly. If it can work, you will need to install it as a complete unit in the door. I don't think there's any other way around it.
Awesome, thank you very much for confirming! We appreciate your time and business. If you ever need anything else, you know where to find us.
