How do I ID my Pella door rollers?

our Pella sliding door is about 30 years old, is there just one replacement roller for all Pella doors?  How can we tell with out pulling the door out first?

There is not one replacement roller for Pella doors, no. There are a couple out there, some of which aren't even made anymore. It's also possible that your door uses generic rollers, despite having the Pella logo on it.

The only way to know for sure is to remove the old rollers. There is no way around that, unfortunately. That's just how these doors are designed to work. Understand that the manufacturer doesn't want to make it easy for you. They would rather you buy an all new door instead of one little replacement part.
