How do I determine what sash weight range I need?
Looks like I need
21" Series 385 Channel Balance Product Code: S385-21
I will purchase 2, one for each channel
Is there anything else I need for the replacement of my channel balance

There should be a number stamped on your channel that gives a clue of which of our options you need. If not, or if you aren't sure what your stamp represents, you can cut to the chase and simply weigh your sash. That's all a stamp is, after all: an indicator of how much weight your balances can support. We have a chart on the S385-21 page that lists each option and how much weight each can support. All you have to do is cross-reference your sash weight to that chart.

A stamp of 20 4 usually corresponds to our 2040 option, but I still think it's a good idea to weigh your sash just in case.
