How do I get my french door to work?

We have French doors with a deadbolt and key. We are able to unlock
from the outside but not lock. Are we doing something wrong?

Hello there! Thanks for reaching out to us. The mortise lock may be the culprit. To test this, remove the handle set from the door and try manually 'throwing' the lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, then you know the lock needs to be replaced.

Unfortunately, we don't sell replacement hardware for this kind of door. French door hardware tends to be outside our purview. Your best bet would be to contact a local professional or the original manufacturer of the door to see what they suggest.
