Good Morning,

Are you replacing an old crank operator of the same style and size?

Have you removed the old crank operator from your window yet?

Where are you getting stuck?

  • Remove the sill cover (covers operator installation screws). Be careful, as you do not want to damage the cover.
  • Open up the window sash.
  • With sash open and sill cover removed, the operator screws should be exposed.
  • Remove the screws and disconnect the terminal clip on the extended arm of the operator. You can use a small screwdriver or long nose pliers to turn and disengage the operator clip from the sash bracket.
  • After the clip is disengaged, you should be able to lift up the operator end of the sash.
