Hi,

How do you remove the screws on the crank operator? Please see attached. The screws are hidden under the wood frame.

Thanks

Good afternoon! Thanks for posting. To get to those screws, you will have to remove the wood trim. You can ease it off with a prybar like our 75-081, but just make sure to be careful: you don't want to crack the trim! Once it's off, you should have free reign over the screws.
A home owner from NY says:
What happens if I break the wood trim? Does Andersen sell the wood trims? I had the wood protector applied onto it recently so the wood trim is probably stuck to the base.

If you break the trim, you should probably contact a local mill works to see if they can make a substitute for you.
