How to Install Window Opener

Question

so in order for someone to have A/C through the summer, they ripped up the inside window trim and quite forcibly removed the handle and window opening apparatus. I just want to know the best way to reinstall the part?

May I please see a photo of the area where this operator would be installed? There is a chance we may be able to assist with walking you through the installation. However, if the window trim is severely damaged, there may not be much we can do.
