How to adjust the 40-150

Question

I have ordered and received an inside door handle. it is item # 40-150.
It appears to be the correct part, but the hole that goes over the center rod is too small. I'll bet it's adjustable, but I can't figure out how to do so. Can you help me?

If you take a look toward the bottom of the handle, you will see an allan screw. you must remove that allan screw, then tap the base of the lock on a hard surface, which will cause the inside reducer to drop out.
