Hi, we have sunair channel balance stamped 2740 . So we ordered S380-28 for 2740. One side went okay, but other side got broken during installation.

It looks like your question was cut off. However, everything you said sounds right. The S380-28 2740 is meant to hold a 19 to 26 pound sash. How did your balance break during installation?
