How to fasten 32-083 corner glide

How does one fasten these glides? And are the ones with the nail embedded into it better?

When I installed this part in the past, I placed a block of wood on top of the glide and gently tapped it in with a hammer. We also have the 32-011 guide, which you could install using either a small nail or even a very small screw.
