How to fix balance?

Balance lock knife shoe moved to center of window channel so can't keep window open. How to bring it down to lower channel do I can solve issue. It's weather shield window.

Thanks for writing in! I believe you may have a channel balance with a custom knife lock shoe attached to the bottom. To identify the exact replacement, I will need to see a photo of the assembly removed from the window. Take a look at the video tutorial below for an idea on how to remove these balances.
