How to install a Model 15-017 Spiral Balance Shoe?

A home owner from Vero Beach, FL says:
How do I stall your model 15-017 Spiral Balance Shoe?
I'm replacing the spiral balances in a non-tilt aluminum window, and I found the old spiral balance shoes laying on the bottom window sill and in poor condition. Your model 15-017 Spiral Balance Shoe looks like an exact replacement. Do these just push up into the bottom of the window frame, or do I need additional parts?

Thanks!

Hopefully I can help! First, have a friend raise and hold the sash up up. While they're holding it, thread the balance spiral through the 15-017 shoe and lock it onto the sash. Now raise the spiral with your finger and, when you get to the shoe, hook the 75-005 charging tool into the hole at the tip of the spiral. Turn the spiral clockwise three times. You should feel tension building and hook the spiral to the shoe. Do the same on the other side and try the sash. If the sash doesn't hold, raise and hold the sash up and give the spiral another turn. You don't want to turn it very much more than that, though.
