How to install lock without it falling?

I have your replacement handle, but the lock fell down (when I took the old handle off) - ? How do I install the new lock and handle (Ok, the handle is not hard to install once I put that inside lock where it belongs) HELP! thank you

Thanks for posting! Please take a look at our tutorial video on how to install a mortise lock. This shows the best way of installing this type of lock without it falling into the door.
