How to prevent slider door from being "pulled up"

A quick learner from Los Angeles, CA says:
Our patio doors slide from the outside and can easily be pulled up and out. I saw the response regarding the latches and the cross bar. What do you recommend so it can't be pulled up? Screws in the top? Thank you!

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
I pulled up a few different types of security items you can look over on the right side of this page. If you just want to prevent the sliding door from pulling up when locked, you can shape a piece of wood and screw it in the top channel. That should prevent the door from pulling up, but will clear when sliding the door.
