Putting windows back in place after removal?

Need advice on installing window sash balance pin back into the pivot shoe ,how do you keep shoe in place so you can align with sash ?

Hello,

To reinstall the sash in a tilt window, you'll need to raise the pivot shoes about 6" above the window sill and make sure that one shoe is slightly higher in the track. That will help you get clearance to pop in one pivot bar at a time before twisting the sash into place and raising it into the window frame.
