How to remove Silverline door stationary panel?

Home Owner from Illinois

I have Silverline sliding glass door installed 20 years ago and am trying to replace the stationery panel. I removed the sill and a top mounted white rectangular "jam" style bracket.

The door won't budge. The frame is a white plastic surround and the bottom track has a black molding so there are no visible signs of mounting points. I'm wondering if the panel is just stuck or fearing it is somehow secured behind the frame with a non standard method the builder used for expediency. I have a replacement from Silver Line: 5502. Thanks for any advice. DB

For the Silverline 5500 Series door, you mention you removed the top end bracket with two screws facing the door. However you must also remove the top inside stopper bracket that is screwed to the top of the track. Then, after removing the sill, you must remove the bottom draft plug screwed to the door and the two interior fixed panel clips on the inside door jamb.

If you already did all this, then the door panel just might be stuck from all the years and you need to pull and work the door out of the door jamb.
