How to remove bottom track?

Quick Learner from Pickering
Hi,
I have one of the Acorn 1200 Series sliding doors. I believe the door is not draining properly when it rains against it. The track fills up with water and it leaks in my basement instead of out of the draining holes (also looks like the previous owner has drilled a few additional holes to help draining). The 4 screws visible on the bottom track were rusted out. I waterproofed the holes and stuck new screws in but I cannot get to see what is under the part of the track in between the glass door and the screen door.

What is the process for removing the bottom track to hopefully not have to remove the sides?
What is under that part between the screen door and the glass door?

Thanks
Derek

Hey there! Thanks for your question. The Acorn Company that made your door is out of business, so you need to be careful not to damage the track because there isn't a replacement. To remove the bottom door track, you will need to remove the doors and unscrew the complete frame and remove it. The track was screwed on to the side jambs before the contractor installed it.
