How to remove the 90-139 lock

Hello,
I ordered a new 90-139 lock for my window. I know how to remove the window. Will the lock just slide out so I can replace it?

You will first need to remove the sash from the window frame. After the sash is removed, see if you can slide the 90-139 out. You might need to remove the frame assembly screw at the corner of the sash.
