How to use the 40-165

Question

I just ordered your 40-165 spring hinge repair kit for my Emco storm door. Do I need to remove the door to install the new spring hinge?

Yes, I think it would be easier to take the door down and place it on a work bench. If you do try to do it with the door still in place, I would suggest having someone help with holding the door while you try to put the new pins in place. It would be a lot easier in the long run if you were to remove it first, though.
