Hurd Aluminium Clad Double Hung Balancer Parts

Question

1. Looking for replacement balancer shoes for the type shown on my Hurd windows they are 1 1/4" wide. I think maybe 15-195 will do the job although it incorporates the inverted link (swisco #15-224) into the balancer shoe, rather than as a separate part. Therefore, probably need to replace as a pair (RH & LH) if I use 15-195?

2. I am also missing a couple of the clips shown from the top of the track into which the balancer run. Not sure what purpose they serve and if they are absolutely necessary

If your balance is in good condition, you could just replace the broken inverted link with our 15-224. We also have the 15-216 shoe.

I'm not sure what the nylon clip is for. May we see it in the window?
