Hurd casement window parts

Quick Learner from Minnesota
I need a replacement window crank assembly as the gears are stripped. The reason they are stripped is the casement window has saged and is rubbing on the bottom of the window frame. Watching a video showed an adjustable pin on the bottom hinge. My windows are about 20 years old and have a stationary pin. Is there a way to adjust the window to remove the sage? Could I replace the bottom hinge with an adjustable pin?

Hey there, thanks for writing in!

Your casement operator looks a lot like our 39-253LB and its opposite handed version, part 39-253RB. Carefully review and compare the dimensions to your existing operator to confirm that this is the replacement you'll need. You may need to remove the part from the window to confirm.

The compatible handles sets are parts 39-375 and 39-376, which are folding handles and covers as well as parts 39-451 and 39-452, which are non-folding.

I've linked a few other pieces of hardware such as the track slider, the track, the brackets and one compatible screw that you could possibly use in the installation.

Let me know if you have any questions.
