Hurd crank fine threads are stripped

Handy Person from Ohio
The window are from 1988 and the crank came out the 1st time I used it after buying the house in 2015. I put it back in and it keeps backing itself out after it use. Threads in the female part of the window assembly look stripped badly. Some threads on the crank look flattened and bent. I think I need a new assemble. The arm appears to measure 9" from the center of the nylon button to the pivot point. That is an appropriate since I didn't rip the window apart. Just used a tape measure and added a 1/4" since I couldn't get all the way to pivot point.

Hi there!

The 39-028E comes to mind. The arm is 9-1/2" long when measured from the center of the roller to the center of the gear as shown below. We don't sell this with a 9" arm though. Have a look at the specifications and see what you think.
