Hurd patio Handle and lockset

Handy Person from Connecticut
I am looking to replace a broken handle/lock for my sliding glass patio door. I believe the handle is the original from when the house was built in 1994. The door is a Hurd. The markings on the original handle says PAT# 5,092,144. P/N 120-60. It seems like I need the inside handle with backplate and locking lever, outside handle with lock and key, mortise set and the latch that goes on the frame.
The handle in the 1st picture is not original, but the backplate is original. Looking for an upgrade. Thank you!

Hello,

Unforutnately, we do not carry a match for your original handle set but your mortise lock resembles the 82-227. This lock is commonly used with the 82-030 handle set. Take a look and see if the 3-15/16" hole spacing matches yours. If so, this could work but keep in mind that it does not have the same offset latch at the top, which will leave the top hole exposed. If the top hole is where the handle engages with the lock, you may need to drill new installation holes to install the handle in the correct position. Look it over and see what you think.
