I'm not sure how to go about opening the cover to access other pictures or part numbers. Several of the cranks either do not close the window or they move the window to approximately an inch or two to being closed. Hope this makes sense. Would it help for me to open a window and take a picture of what the crank mechanism looks like from the exterior of the window? I'm a little handy with good instruction, but I also have a small window supplier who has offered to install these replacements. I also have windows that open from the right and from the left.

The crank is on either side of the cover depending on direction window opens.

If your window operator is old enough, you likely can't remove the cover at all. These are often permanently affixed to the operator mechanism.
We should be able to help, but the entire operator needs to be removed from the window before you take your photos so that we can see the whole thing. The base alone is not enough to identify a match, since many dozens of operators have this same base.
