I BELIEVE IT'S CALDWELL 2640

Distributor from Albuquerque, New Mexico

I am an industrial supplies distributor. A university wants me to start supplying all 14 sizes of these to them. We will buy them by the case of 25 or 50 or whatever it comes in, but I need a good price since I am reselling them. If you will help me identify these and price me competitive I won't even go looking around. I just need a good responsive supplier for long term business with the university's dormitories.

Hi, John. We're here for anything you need. Balances are sold by the single unit, so you can get as many or as few as you want, and most items offer bulk pricing (automatically factored into our site) if you're ordering a decent sized quantity. The balances are assembled by hand, so there's no sort of "case" that we can send, but we can get you as many as you need.

I think this is a Series 390 balance. The one shown is S390-27, but other lengths are available. Check the shoe to be sure. This should be your shoe in the photo below.

We sell this balance in a "2640" option, like your old one, which you'll need when you go to order on our site. Other balances may have different stamps. You can always add 1 to the first two digits of the stamp to get the length, to save yourself from measuring. 2640 is 27", 2550 would be 26", etc. Let me know if you need anything else.

The top end doesn't determine a significant difference between the Series 390 and any of our other balances. The key is the bottom shoe attachment. As long as it resembles the one in my image above, you can use Series 390 in various lengths.

You're very welcome. (I actually didn't see your second post with the photos of the bottom attachment, sorry!)
