I am looking for the locking mechanism specifically

A quick learner from Sammamish, WA says:
The only number I could find on the locking mechanism I am trying to replace is 4412 14. The hinge assembly says Truth Entry Gard, but it is working OK. I need to replace a number of the locks in the house as the windows are over 20 years old. Thanks for any assistance you can lend.

I'm not sure what locks you need, specifically. Yours is an older style that hasn't been made in years and there are a few possible replacement options. Start by looking at our 38-095 and 38-096. Carefully compare the dimensions we show for each product to your original, especially the projection of the fork, to confirm the best match.
