I am trying to fix this myself because the warranty has run out and im lost.

A home owner from Templeton massachusetts says:

The window measured 40x32 from trim to trim. It has a coil on each side which are both broken. I really dont know what parts are what i apologize.

Hello there!

Based on what's shown in your photos, I recommend our 15-191 pivot shoe which uses the Series 160 coil springs. To determine what coil weight you'll need, check the band on the springs for a stamped number. If there aren't any, you'll need to divide the sash weight by the total number of springs in the window to determine the appropriate coil weights. We've also related some videos on this page that you may find helpful.

Let me know if you have any questions!
