This seal is only installed on the bottom of the window. The house was built in 2000 and these are original windows. The seal slides into a groove in the window frame and it is on the outer side of the window

Thanks for your post! Your window seal is a match for either the 58-171 .270 or 58-182 .187 T-Slot Foam Filled Bulb Weatherseal. To narrow down which of these is the correct fit for your window, carefully look over the dimensions below and compare them.
The most important measurement is the size of the slot that fits in to the window framing.
