cannot get the old thermal guard lock off

I purchased replacement thermal guard locks from you. However, I cannot get the old ones off. Is there something else besides the screw I need to do?

Hello,

I believe these types of locks slide into the top of the sash. From what I remember, you'll need to remove the screw at the corner which holds the top tilt mechanism in place to slide the latch and lock out of the end of the sash. Thanks for posting.
