I cant get the old broken latch assy out of the frame

A handy person from chesapeake, va. says:
Is there a trick to this? I would like to get a better pic of what I need to order the right one.

Hello,

This looks like our 40-191 Pella mortise lock. I'm confident that this is the correct part but I'm not sure why you're having trouble removing it since the screws appear to be removed, as well as the handle set, meaning that there is nothing left to keep it in the frame.

I agree with Casey that the lock should come out relatively easily. If the faceplate is a bit rusted or snug in the frame, you might consider using some WD-4 to loosen it up.
