It's tough to tell from your photo, but this is similar to our 23-016. Look it over and let me know if this would work for your closet door.

The above picture is upside down. It's for the top of my mirror sliding door!

The 23-016 can work for the top of the door. Have you had the opportunity to take a look at the suggested part to see if it will work? If not, take a look and see what you think.
