I have these metal bifold

when I opened my door, my door almost fell off in my hand. This plastic piece is at the bottom of my bifold door to the very far side against the frame

I'm afraid that I don't recognize this part. It looks like it could be a kind of grommet, or even a pin cap. Can you kindly show me where this installed?
