I need a window balance

A quick learner from Las Vegas, NV says:
I have 3 double hng non-tilt windows that are identical. One of them broke--the string. Also looks like the takeout clip died. The part slid down the side of the window, so I removed it without removing the sash.

The existing part is 1/2" wide channel, 27" long.

The part is marked 26-3 CA2 CMC 4

I think I would replace all 6 pieces including the takeout clips, since they are all the same age, and it would maximize the probability of success.

My guess was S395-27, but I'd like to confirm or correct it.

Thanks, Phil

I tried to weigh the sash, came out just over 12 pounds.

Hello,

I agree that the S395-27 appears to be a match to yours but the 26-3 stamp on your balance correlates to a 2630 strength option for a window sash weight between 13 and 19 lbs. I'd recommend double-checking the sash weight and if it is definitely 12 pounds, the 2620 option for a sash between 9 and 13 lbs may be the way to go. Thank you!
