I need the mortise for this Pella storm door.

Question

Your dimension cross section shows the attaching screw holes to be 7 1/4 inch apart. I measure 7 5/16. I realize either of us can be off 1/4 inch, but am questioning it to get the right part.

The 40-191 certainly is what I'd recommend in this case. Most likely I think you'll be fine. While it's not a trivial difference, 70-1/4" is close to 7-5/16". We get these dimensions directly from the supplier for these pictures, and in some cases the supplier uses more or less specific measurements in their specification (for instance, 7-1/4" when its arguably 5/16"). Let us know if you end up having a problem but I suspect you'll be fine.
