I want to purchase two lock cylindars, keyed alike

Question

I have security storm doors on the front and back of my house.
The original door locks had matching keys
The original mortise latches for those doors wore out

I bought two replacement latches from you, part number 40-194.

I had hoped to keep the old handle sets and lock cylinders but they did not fit. The old lock cylinders would fit into the new latch, but the tab that worked the deadbolt did not line up right.

On July 5, 2023, I purchased two new handle sets with lock cylinders, part number 40-199.

I installed one of them, but I want the two locks to be keyed alike. I have enough keys to carry around already. Do you sell matching pairs of lock cylinders for this lock?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to say that we do not carry a handle set compatible with the 40-194 Storm Door Mortise Latch. We did at one time, however it was discontinued and we have not been able to source a suitable replacement for it.

In regard to having the key cylinders keyed alike, you'll need to take the 40-199 Pella Storm Door Mortise Lever Handle Set and a blank key to a locksmith or a local hardware store. They'll be able to complete this process for you.
